Concealed Solutions

The mobile telecom market of today has changed fundamentally from the rollout of the original mobile networks in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Legislation relating to site acquisition has become much more stringent with site providers and local planners becoming much more aggressive.

The Mivan philosophy for concealed solutions helps meet these challenges, tailored to today's market.

Mivan offers two key concealed solution options:

• Concealment by design
  

  Using advanced 3D CAD technology together with design expertise Mivan can position antennas and equipment in such a way to minimise visibility from street level and other critical viewing positions. Following a survey, a 3D model is developed further and the building finishes can be applied and the model rendered to give further realism. Fully rendered photograph quality images can be plotted from any position to allow true accurate representation of a proposed installation.




• Concealment by design and physical measures
  

  On many sites, in addition to strategic positioning of equipment, physical camouflage measures can be introduced. Mivan Telecoms have developed close relationships with worldwide suppliers of specialist materials such as RF tuned glass fibre, RF transparent fabrics and other specialist materials. This provides designers with a comprehensive menu to choose from to suit specific site requirements. Once the concepts are developed, 3D models are produced to allow the design to be fine-tuned to ensure the solution exactly meets the requirements of the planners and site providers prior to any further capital investment by the operator.
