Rapid Deployment Solution

Mivan has researched and developed a range of designs for the construction of temporary sites, which can be installed and integrated in less than a week.

Where adequate space is available, a more radical approach has been developed and constructed, utilising pre-cast concrete elements in a cruciform layout, held together with post-tensioned, high tensile steel rods. The design concept negates the need for insitu foundations and makes it less intrusive and also gives it the potential to be transformed into a permanent site with minimal expense. A range of rooftop solutions using free standing tripod poles and outdoor cabinets are also available.

Temporary Sites

Where space is limited, a solution has been developed and built that accommodates a monopole on a steel grillage, with restraint from wind loads supplied by pre-cast concrete cantledge blocks. The grillage sits on shallow insitu concrete foundations, which are adequate to take outdoor telecom equipment and power supply cabinets. Following the placing of the foundations the site can be installed, monopole erected and site rigged in a single week.

Both options are easily removed when required and simply stored for reuse when necessary. Mivan provide a service that can supply, deliver, install and maintain temporary sites in both the UK and Europe.
