Cruise Ship Outfitting firm, Mivan has recently opened up a Southampton Office.

The Southampton base has been established due to an ongoing agreement with P&O Cruises, as part of the Carnival UK group, to provide maintenance onboard their ships such as the Azura, Adonia, Ventura, and Arcadia. The office, which employs 5 staff has opened at City West, Millbrook Road East.

General Manager Kevin Lock commented 'The Southampton base will help the Company to further service the ongoing maintenance and interiors requirements of our cruise ship clients. We look forward to the prospect of working with local suppliers on the south coast of England that can offer solutions for cruise ship maintenance contracts. We would encourage them to contact our Southampton Office to register as a potential supplier'.

Mivan is a respected leader in the cruise ship outfitting market delivering over £10m in this sector during 2011 and with a 2012 order book of over £3.5m. Other Mivan clients include Princess Cruises, Cunard Line, Crystal Cruises and Pullmantur Cruises. In March Mivan exhibited at Cruise Shipping Miami Trade Show, announcing the new Southampton Office during the event.

The Southampton Office adds to Mivan's other UK offices in London & Antrim, Northern Ireland. The Company employs over 350 globally and is also active in the Prime Residential, Hotels and Commercial Office and Visitor Attractions Markets.
