On Wednesday 5 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, Mivan sponsored the 2003 Specialist Contractor of the Year Awards. The event was organized by Building Magazine in association with the Department for Trade and Industry (DTI).

There were a number of partners for the event and Mivan sponsored the charity casino which followed the main awards ceremony and raised almost £11,000. The proceeds raised from the casino will go towards the nominated charity for the event -the Construction Industry Trust for Youth (CITY).
This organization widens access to education and skills, particularly for disadvantaged young people. Consequently, the Trust has an important role to play both in the disadvantaged communities it serves and the wider construction industry it supports.
It was a good night with around 500 construction industry specialists in attendance. This is the inaugural year of these awards, of what will undoubtedly become an important event in the construction industry calendar recognizing an increasingly significant sector of the industry. « Go Back
