The second annual Seatrade Insider Cruise Awards took place in Venice on 10 December.

The ceremony was part of the three-day Seatrade Med exhibition that took place at the Venezia Terminal Passeggeri in Italy. Mivan has been highly commended in the Supplier of the Year category with TEAM from Spain winning the category. Winners were selected by an international team of judges comprising of key cruise industry figures. ‘The quality of this year’s entries and the geographical spread reflects the truly global nature of today’s cruise business and its strength, ingenuity and reach.’ said Mary Bond, editor of Seatrade Insider. Mivan’s track record for its outfitting skills was given special mention by the judges. 2008 has been a successful year to date for Mivan’s Cruise Ship Interiors business with a major contract completed onboard the Star Princess and a number of follow on contracts with Princess Cruises now secured. Mivan also completed its first contract with Holland America Line onboard the ms Zuiderdam and has just secured additional work under its Signature of Excellence programme in 2009. « Go Back
